He even let my son Ryan spar with him once. He was a nice guy and very good fighter. Just ask Shane Mosley. May God Bless.
You can go to our youtube site youtube.com/inthiscorner and view it. Vernon always had a big smile and always took time to chat or be interviewed.
Sadly we lost another one. Vernon Forrest. Murdered in Atlanta where my youngest son Ryan lives. I last interviewed Vernon following his victory over Sergio Mora in their rematch.

The TV had four legs and there was no cable, no satellite, no hd. All that stuff has made TV better. But nothing has come along better than Cronkite. God Bless him.
I'm proud to say my first memories of TV are sitting on a living room floor in Miami Florida watching Walter Cronkite on CBC.

CNN is a major culpret. Deepak Chopra seems to be the only one that really gets it.
Move on CNN
Thanks
Back in studio working on some exciting IN THIS CORNER TV stuff.
By the way even in death Michael Jackson continues to have enablers doing and making excuses for him

What's the saying "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" wow
Possibility that Gatti's wife may have somehow been involved, if this is proved to be true and with what happened to Steve McNair involving his mistress or girlfriend, scarry stuff.
Lesnar, correct spelling, don't want him chasing me around
Just as I always said, professional wrestlers with a bit of training can beat many elite UFCers. Here comes Triple H and John Cena. ha ha. Good job Brock
Too much weight for Vic Darchinyan, he also is now showing his age.
First Alexis Arguello, now Gatti. Usually goes in 3s. Aruguello was a great fighter, Gatti had great heart, both were great for the sport of boxing. Both will be missed. Mickey Ward must be very sad today.
Sad news Arturo Gatti found dead in Brazil. Only 37 years old. He packed a lifetime for most into those years. Somehow news does not surprice me.

Very moving and sad memorial today for Michael Jackson.
One comment to Rev Al. Sorry Al MJ was strange, he was way beyond eccentric. He also was a tremedous entertainer who like so many others similar to his ilk left way too early.

He actually showed me how to throw my right with more power. It worked. I have a picture of him and I on my wall in my office. He was a great fighter and really nice guy. Like many fighters he had that dark side, but he was really a cool dude.
Lets do a ten count for Alexis, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. May he rest in peace.
Sad new the passing of Alexis Arguello. I had the privilidge of training with him on a few occassions at the legendary 5th Street Gym.
